I’m Felicity Dinah and I have been Mothering for 8 years. I am emerging from this chrysalis to share Aware Parenting* with you.
Why do I call my work ‘Mothering With Soul?’:
I am a Mother who needs creativity and soulfulness to be a part of my Mothering experience. I didn’t want to have to separate them out from each other. And so Mothering has become a passionate research project, in how it can be creatively satisfying and soul nourishing.
In Motherhood, I became aware of how many creative and soulful moments there were. Lying under a tree watching the laundry sway on the washing line in the breeze.
Wandering at the pace of my toddler and noticing all the bits of grass pushing through the pavement. Pushing the pram, with a Mary Oliver poetry book facing me and learning a poem off by heart.
Simultaneously, I encountered barriers to these soulful and creative moments. The main block being my own childhood wounds surfacing. Discovering Aware Parenting was pivotal. I found a Parenting Approach which could help me through my arising parenting challenges and my childhood wounds, resulting in more soulful parenting.
Once I started receiving Aware Parenting mentoring support, I felt I had stepped onto a sturdy boat and was safely sailing out into exciting and unknown waters. I felt supported to take risks, to examine unhelpful imprints, and to radically change the way my kids would experience their childhood. Aware Parenting has profoundly supported the soulfulness and creativity with which I Mother.
I can support you through the challenges you are experiencing with parenting and partnering; and also support you to explore your childhood experiences which may be blocking you from parenting in the way you’d like to be parenting.
I offer individual online Aware Parenting sessions; local home visits; and online groups.
I will love to hear from you.
Felicity
